The Casino in Hobowars has three games you can play.

Jackpot

Jackpot is a game of luck. Purchase a ticket for $50 and hope your number is the lucky one. If it is, the jackpot is yours. The current pot is determined by the number of tickets bought and if a generous hobo donated to the pot.

Slot Machine

The slot machine is much more generous than real life gambling as on average it tends to hand out more money than it takes in. You will not gain money every time, but it would be advisable to play all 50 turns every day.

Blackjack

Blackjack is close to real life blackjack tables. Same basic rules as anywhere else.

Get as close to 21 as you can without going over.

• 2 through 9 is face value
• Face cards are worth 10
• Ace is worth 1 or 11

You and the dealer will be dealt 2 cards. One of the dealers cards will be visible to you because it was dealt face up.

Before you can play you will have to place your bet which must be within the table limits.
