I've noticed that there's a trend of moving useless entries to a new title such as "Deleteable" or "~delete~". This trend is foolish, and here's why: In the event that a sysop actually does get around to deleting the pages, they now have not only one, but TWO useless entries to remove - the redirect YOU just created and the moronic entry itself. In addition, it adds to clutter on the wiki and is generally just stupid. Because of this, I created a new page in the project namespace, HoboWars:Pages for Deletion. Just list the entry there along with a brief reasoning as to why it should be removed. It'll help tremendously if and when we finally get a sysop. --Blu Aardvark 07:24, 7 September 2008 (EST)

I gave them a category of their own, :Category:Gangs. However, my concern is that pretty much all of those entries re utterly pointless. If a detailed history of each gang was included, then it would be useful. But most of them are poorly-written recruitment pieces, and obsolete ones at that. --Blu Aardvark 07:34, 7 September 2008 (EST)

Hobowiki State Address

Well, looks like we got a vandal on our hands. Unfortunately, we can't do shit but make his life a little harder and revert all his damage.

But that's not enough. We need an administrative presence. This Wiki is currently the best source for Hobowars information and everyone knows it. They know the work that went in here and they know we do our best to try and keep it current. Sure, we're pretty lazy, but we do shit, dammit!

We need an admin! Someone who comes around! ANDY! GET US A FUCKING ADMIN!

 • Alternatively, just give sysop status to some of the regular contributors. Even if one of them suddenly went apeshit, no lasting harm is possible, as even deletions can be reverted with relative ease. --Blu Aardvark 14:20, 2 September 2008 (EST)

Page "Deletions"

Gang entries

I gave them a category of their own, Category:Gangs. However, my concern is that pretty much all of those entries re utterly pointless. If a detailed history of each gang was included, then it would be useful. But most of them are poorly-written recruitment pieces, and obsolete ones at that. --Blu Aardvark 07:34, 7 September 2008 (EST)
