Adventures are interactive stories that usually introduce new game features and are gradually completed over the course of a couple weeks.

History

Mechanics
Adventures are usually comprised of tasks that need to be completed before the next task can be started. Additionally, after completing a task, there is usually a delay on when the next task can be started. Once an Adventure is fully completed, it cannot be restarted or played through again.
Almost all of the items you find and use during the Adventures and stored in the Unusually Large Backpack.
Main Adventures
Currently, four main Adventures have been released. It is unknown if there are currently plans in the works to release more.
Intro Adventures
The Intro Adventures take place in the City, and are comprised of multiple tasks designed to introduce new players to the game.
Your life as a hobo begins when the Old Man takes your Cardboard Box from you and has you see Duncan to complete various tasks for him in order to get it back.
All new players are automatically thrust into the Intro Adventures. All other players have the option to start it or to permanently hide the option to start it.
Second City Adventures
The Second City Adventures take place in Second City, and are comprised of 20 "days".
The story is a rough parody of "The Lord of the Rings".
This Adventure begins when you answer the phone in the Telephone Booth.
Hoburbia Adventures
The Hoburbia Adventures take place in Hoburbia, and are comprised of 23 "days".
The story is a rough parody of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory".
This Adventure begins when you attempt to gain entry to the Bowling Alley's restroom. It's locked, and the key is with a man at the Old Man's Arena. Defeat him to get the key.
Canbodia Adventures
The Canbodia Adventures take place in Canbodia, and are comprised of 18 "missions".
The story is a rough parody of "Apocalypse Now".
This Adventure begins with the arrival of some punks in the City. Eat a Wonka Bar, check the wrapper for some coordinates, and explore the City to locate the place they are coming from.
Each after a mission is completed, a new alcoholic beverage and a new stop on the Canbodian River are unlocked.
Mini Adventures
Mini Adventures are shorter interactive stories that still usually introduce a new game feature, but have a storyline separate from that on the Main Adventures' and can usually be completed within a day.
Skill Shop Mini Adventure
The Skill Shop Mini Adventure is a short Adventure that leads you into the Canbodian Jungle to search for the Skill Shop's Buxom Blonde and rescue her from Hobo Kong.
Mining Mini Adventure
The Mining Mini Adventure is a short Adventure that leads you into the Technicolor Jungle to discover the location of the Mines and the lair of Hobosaurus Rex!
April Fool's Day Mini Adventures
The April Fool's Day Mini Adventures are short, fun, and relatively pointless Adventures that are released on April Fools' Day every year starting in 2010.
2010
Dig into your Unusually Large Backpack to find a strange Xmas Gift. Rip it open to find a Yellow Jumpsuit inside. Equip it, explore the Hoburbs, meet some thugs while on Neighborhood Watch patrol to discover a new location in the Hoburbs, and go there to obtain the legendary Lemonade!
2011
The saga of the Lemonade continues! A perturbed woman in the Parking Garage in Second City had her car key stolen by a mysterious young fellow. Search Second City for him, retrieve the key, and return it to the woman to receive a strange ring sought out by some teenagers at the Bus Station.
Adventures in Facebook HoboWars and HoboArena
Unlike HoboWars and HoboWars2, Facebook HoboWars and HoboArena do not have the four Main Adventures and the Mini Adventures. In their stead is a series of "Lite" Adventures, which are features or tasks that becomes unlocked as you level up.
There are currently no plans to bring over the Main Adventures and the Mini Adventures over to Facebook HoboWars or HoboArena.
Lite Adventures
Lite Adventures are unlockable tasks and activities exclusive to Facebook HoboWars and HoboArena.
Lite Adventures that are only present in Facebook HoboWars are marked with a light green background.
Lite Adventures that are only present in HoboArena are marked with a light blue background.
- Level 10: The High School becomes accessible.
- Level 20: The University becomes accessible, and the Samurai appears at the High School. Defeat the Samurai to gain access to Begging Master begging.
- Level 30: A Yorkshire Terrier appears at WalMart. Feed it a Special Brownie to earn its loyalty and have it help you gain more cash while begging. It raises your base begging income by $2 for every level, up to $200 at level 100.
- Level 40: Give the kid at the Primary School a Toothpuff to gain access to the Candy Forge.
- Level 50: The Smarty Pants become available for purchase at the Pawn Shop, and can also be found in the 7/11 Dumpster if you're lucky. Buy them and equip them to get the Brainy status effect whenever you gain intelligence stat past 100 intelligence.
- Level 60: Dre & Silent Rob appear at the Corner 7/11. Defeat Silent Rob to get your scratch-offs upgraded to Toothpuff Plus.
- Level 70: The Garden Shears become available for purchase at the Pawn Shop. Buy them to make the Technicolor Tent at the Traveling Carnival accessible.
- Level 80: The Magnet becomes available for purchase at the Pawn Shop. Buy it to get better 7/11 Dumpster finds.
- Level 90: The Fat Arcade Kid appears at the Arcade. Defeat him to make Fighters Lunches available at WalMart.
- Level 100: Bernard's Mansion becomes accessible, if you meet the entry requirements.
