Governor:

Governors are the game's elite staff, responsible for maintaining and producing code.


Ministers:

Ministers are the second step of staff and have control over game accounts. As such, they exist outside the game mechanics.


Vice Ministers:

Quite similar to ministers. Probably the same as ministers, just not red.


Secretary's:

Secretaries are responsible for board activities. They have no control outside such and should not be harassed. For all intents, they are equal to standard users, outside their moderation responsibilities.


Artist:

Draws pictures for adventures and such.


Former Staff

Ministers:

  • Ruiner - Stepped down on April 1st, 2008. Initially thought of as an april fool's joke, it ended up the opposite.
  • Hexcon - Previously ID 4. He was demoted to secretary as he was accused of selling stats for money. He later resigned from secretary but regained the position over a year later; however, he has been destaffed for inactivity and now deleted.
  • Demon - Served as minister at the opening of the game. He resigned because he was too busy working on his own game and has since been long deleted.
  • Stinky Steve - Some consider him the greatest staff member ever. Steve decided to pursue life goals, rather than continue on HoboWars. When his deletion finally came it was an emotional event for all who knew Steve.


Vice Ministers:

  • Rage - Resigned.
  • Kate - A.K.A. Blondie. Almost as mysterious as Ruiner himself. She played a large part in HoboWars as has retained the status Secretary as a tribute to all she has done for HoboWars. Kate was also a Coder on Andy's other Game Critticage for over a year, but has since stepped down (and destaffed at her own request) to pursue real life matters, she is much missed on both games. She is still periodically active.


Secretaries:

  • Chedburn - Ex-leader of [CrAzY]. Quit Hobowars to run his own game, TornCity.
  • Rev VC - Secretary until a loss of a family member opened his eyes to his life and he decided to put his time towards better things. He made his official announcement in early April 2007, and was destaffed on April 8th, 2007. He was possibly one of the best Secretaries in Hobowars.
  • Alex DeLarge - Known mostly as "Alex" he was possibly the youngest staff member ever on HoboWars. As a mere teenager Alex was promoted to Secretary. After a while he soon lost interest and quit HoboWars. He has since returned.
  • Chameleon - A secretary a long time ago, she was destaffed/deleted for inactivity.
  • Charlney - Made infamous for hacking up his toes on webcam. He has since been destaffed/deleted due to inactivity.
  • Gigz - Resigned to become a pilot. He has since been deleted
  • Ali G - He was deleted/destaffed due to inactivity.
  • Willy - Past friend/aquaintance of Malord. Destaffed due to inactivity.
  • Kate - Resigned on November 27th, 2007 for personal reasons.
  • Dogz - Resigned on November 27th, 2007 for personal reasons. Has now come back the game.


Editors:

  • Doody - Resigned
  • Engineer - Unknown?
  • The Editor - Originally an account created by the game admin to be used to collect articles from the editors. Other editors have since taken over the duties and The Editor is no longer used.
  • Majorhobo - An Editor from issues 1 through 8. He became busy with real life and was no longer interested in writing for the paper.
