As well as most of the usual message board abbreviations and slang, quite a number of words have grown out of hobowars and are used on the message boards or in journals/comments on peoples profiles.

T: Shorthand for awakeness. It's your energy.

Rape: Rape or raping is a term used to describe the act of paying another hobo to heal for you so that you can attack them and win.

Slut: A slut is a hobo who is paid to attack you and lose.

(Slut Tax) If you attack and kill someone who has 35% or lower win percentage then the experience gained will be reduced by 35%. If someone who attacks you and looses has 50% or lower win percentage then the experience gained will be reduced by 50%.

(Exp Bonus) When you attack someone with 70% or higher win percentage you will get a bonus of 20% experience.

(Exp Tax) When you attack someone more than 3 times per reset the exp you gain from that person will be taxed. From 20% at 4th hit up to 80% at 7th hit.

(Side Tax) When you win a fight against another hobo from the same side as you (south, east, or west) the exp you gain will be reduced by 50%.

Non-hobowars specific:

• lol - laugh out loud
• rofl - rolling on the floor laughing
• lmao - laughing my ass off
• wtf - what the f***
• OMG - Oh My God
• tut - Tutorial
• GTFO - get the f*** out
• stfu - shut the f*** up

Please note, that the first three terms are often used ironically.
