As well as most of the usual message board abbreviations and slang, quite a number of words have grown out of hobowars and are used on the message boards or in journals/comments on peoples profiles.

Rape: Rape or raping is a term used to describe the act of paying a lower strength hobo to heal for you so that you can attack them.

Slutting: A slut will get paid by a stronger hobo to heal and attack that hobo.

Slut Tax: Slut tax causes the exp gained from beating a hobo to halve if the hobo has a win percentage of 35% or lower.

Non-hobowars specific:

  • lol - laugh out loud
  • rofl - rolling on the floor laughing
  • lmao - laughing my ass off
  • wtf - what the f***
  • OMG - Oh My God

Please note, that the first three terms are often used ironically.
