Hobos like to drink. I bet you didn't know that, not many people do. And just like real hobos, so do we. You'll be able to train your drinking stat starting with your mission to Canbodia.
At this point, little is known about the drinking stat. It resembles a new form of T, a way to train your stats at a cost. It is currently a very large cash sink as well. As a result, the opinions on the best ways to train drinking are varied.

Per stat point, however, drinking is not incredibly efficient.
There are some concerns about how the stat gain is formulated. As of this writing, we've been receiving counter-intuitive reports from hobos that higher intelligence and higher drinking stats give less fighting stats than hobos with less drinking stats. The author's theory is that this is to compensate low-level hobos for their dedication. However, this is groundless speculation.

Liquor: It Costs Too Much and Ruins Families

The thriving liquor industry in the Second City is a monument to the success of hobos everywhere. Unfortunately, that said, it is an expensive hobby. While we have not yet defined the cost formula for drinks, in terms of the base drink price for the Crudweiser, the higher ranked alcohols can cost upwards of 20x the price. As a result of this, your drinking experience may be hampered by your lack of financial freedom. But hey, everything has it's price.

What's On Tap?

Prices appear to be related to the "drink rank" (P = 2*DR). How we decided the drink rank is absolutely beyond me.
