Pac Chat

Pac Chat, as it is so lovingly referred to, is that little php chat application in the upper-left corner of your page (in most layouts). The name is derived from the shape of the original icon for it, a small Pacman-like figure shooting sound-waves at an invisible enemy.

Pac Chat Common Problems

• If your browser isn't refreshing the chat, don't panic. Check the settings along the bottom and make sure your speed isn't set to 0.
• If you want a chat update and don't want to wait for a tick, don't hit refresh. Hit enter on a blank chat line. Blank text isn't sent, but refreshing will send your last post again.
• Certain smilies don't work in chat. Just stay away from smilies all together.
• Your text colour shouldn't be black. It can be close. Just not black. Try and avoid using bold or underline all the time. You wouldn't hand in a resume of all bold, you won't do that in my chat either. These things were meant to be accents.

What Pac Chat Isn't For

Pac Chat isn't for questions. That's what this Wiki is for. Unless you got a question that isn't covered by this Wiki, such as "Hey, what happened to <insert name of your least favourite admin>, why is he such a dick?". That will not be covered by this Wiki.

If you got a question about a bug, that's probably a good place to start. Keep it short and remember to check the Wiki first.

What Pac Chat Is For

Pac Chat is for chatting. Talking shit with people about subjects that don't really matter.

The Rules of Pac Chat

While not original, these are infact the rules:

1st RULE: You do not talk about PAC CHAT.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about PAC CHAT.

3rd RULE: Do not use acronyms. We don't like them.

4th RULE: Do not try and pick a fight if you're a whitey. You'll know if you're whitey.

5th RULE: Misspellings will get you beat.

6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.

7th RULE: If you don't like what someone is saying, leave. Don't be a bitch.

8th RULE: If this is your first night at PAC CHAT, you have no idea what you're doing.

What You Shouldn't Say In Pac Chat

Clearly, he missed this lesson. For one, he misspelled. Then he tried to pick a fight while he's whitey. Then he got kicked by Dogz. Dogz used to be cool.

• GARBAGE PICKER: what the fuck was that

Whitey. Got to hate them. If you are going to be whitey in chat, try and keep it intelligent. You get a lot less leeway than most people.

Why You're Whitey

You're whitey because you don't have a DP. You should get one. It makes me hate you less. It also keeps the game going and makes you have a shiney orange name.
