Specific Details

For negative/positive respect, the Onion Ring gives you +[ 25 + 50(R–RANK) + TRB ] Attack/Defense and Speed.

It also gives you a (R–RANK)% chance to sprint in battle. A "sprint" is a round in a battle where your speed roll is multiplied by 2.5 and then increased by 1000, i.e. [ 2.5(SPEED ROLL) + 1000 ]; therefore, a sprint can help you hit an opponent that is much faster than you.
