The Big Tree is a HoboWars special treat for all versions for the Christmas holiday season. The first year, Daniel D allowed each hobo a chance at winning a random prize, which they could open on the 25th.
During its second year, Cube modified it to provide you the chance to find presents throughout various parts of the game. Because of the quantities of prizes, they can be opened anytime before December 1st of the following year and can start being opened again on the 25th.
Christmas Presents
During a select few days of this event, you have a chance to find a random gift any time you use awake. Although the type of gift received is random, the colors tend to favor areas that are similar to their reward. Meaning that begging is gives a higher ratio of purple gifts and training stats favors green gifts. As a bonus to opening ANY color X-Mas Gift, you have a small chance of receiving a food stamp.
