Adventures
Adventures are a story-line addition to Hobowars.
The Unusually Large Backpack
- The Unusually Large Backpack contains items used in adventuresband various activities.
LOLs
- Beta testing items. No longer used.
Bowling Shoes
- Required to go Bowling at the Bowling Alley. Can be purchased at the flea market in the(Park).
Bus Pass
- It allows you to begin your adventure by taking the short bus to Ye Olde City.
Rope
- Can be changed to a lasso, jump rope, bow, or left untied.
Atlas
- Hey, there isn't a single map in this atlas! What a rip off! Can be purchased at the flea market in the(Park).

Second City
The Second City, formerly the Ye Olde Towne, is reachable through the "Short Bus" on the north side.
- These are the locations that are available after you get to the Second City
- City Map
- The city map is how you move around in the Second City. It will show all of the places you can go. You can find it in your backpack.
Bowling Alley
- You can bowl for 15T. You must have the bowling shoes equipped in order to bowl. The bowling shoes may be found at the flea market. To equip(once bought), click on the icon in your backpack. You will have 2 opponents to select from initially. Once you beat one you will open up a third opponent.
Boxing Stadium
- A sign outside the stadium reads: No fights today! Go home!
Bus Station
- The Bus Station links you to the first City
City Hall
- A place to beg (like the Corner 7/11). You will receive reduced income, but can randomly receive huge sums of cash from the Mayor. You can also play Rocks, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock to win cash & smartbread.
Docks
- The docks will show "Nobody else around the docks tonight." Until certain side adventures are completed in which case you will be able to buy special foods. Stores your boat for later Canbodia Adventures.
Liquor Store
- You need an ID in order to buy anything from the liquor store. Without an ID you will be Rickrolled.
Night Club
- Will read "The bouncer turns you away at the door." Until certain adventures are completed. Once available you can dance which will make small amounts of money and possible find Disco Rats.
Park
- You can visit the Flea Market and buy several items that you may need.
Parking Garage
- You must pay $100 to get in. Once you you may participate in a Fight Club. Your first opponent is Tyler Durden. You can find other other opponents as you complete different portions of adventures. Tyler gains levels and stats the more times you fight him, the higher the level he gets, the more time you have to beat him before he gains another one. As his levels rises, so do his stats accordingly.
- The Garage is one place where you can train the special adventure equipment.
Phone Booth
- Unlabeled on the map, located next to the Red Light District. It rings every 24 hours, receiving calls from the various people who require your services.
Red Light District
- You can explore for 3T. Random encounters/fights will get you money and/or stats.
Sewer Entrance
- A foul smelling place, has 4 mysterious doors. Costs T to explore.
Train Station
- A train connecting to Hoburbia. Some hobos loiter in boxes near the tracks.
Hoburbia
The route to Hoburbia is unlocked through the Bowling Alley bathroom.
Beeramid
- The Beeramid is a mysterious structure with a mysterious purpose. It also contains a series of mysterious riddles for a mysterious prize.
Candy Store
- Deals primarily, and solely, in Wonka candy.
Chocolate Factory
- What dark evil goes on behind the doors of the chocolate factory is unknown.
Court House
- Generally, not in session.
Nursing Home
- Home to Grandpa Joe, this is your base of operations for the start of the Hoburbia adventure.
Pawn Shop
- Buys old adventure items and sells some interesting new items.
Pickety Pete's
- Sells picket signs. Currently a very busy place, due to striking Oompa Loompas.
Soup Kitchen
- Offers a hot meal to a weary hobo, but only once a day.
Tincan Alley
- Home to the Hoburbia flee market and a starving artist, an interesting place indeed.
Wellness Clinic
- For a small cost (then an increasing large cost thereafter), one can enjoy wellness and eat another meal.
Explore the Hoburbs
- For 5T, one can explore the surrounding area. Offers random items & bonuses.
Canbodia
Much like the second set of adventures were a rough parody of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Canbodia is a parody of Apocalypse Now. Each mission completed appears to unlock both a new alcoholic beverage and a new stop down the river. As this adventure is still in progress, we will not be going into great depth with the locations, as that might be considered some kind of cheating. In order to begin this set of adventures, you require items obtained during your adventures in both the Second City and Hoburbia. However, you do not have to have completed either adventure.
Army Base
- The Hobo Army Base. Not much to it.
Beach
- Once you complete the mission here, you're be able to play Stratego for one smart bread every day at a cost of 30T.
Dive Bar
- Sells booze.
Hot Topic
- A clothing store that doesn't sell anything.
Improved Dumpster
- A better version of the original dumpster that offers more items.
Jungle
- A explorable jungle. Has random encounters/fights and ingredients.
Kurtz's Camp
- Where Kurt hides and makes fire.
Recycling Bin
- Likely a place requiring too many cans.
Sail The River
- For 5T, one can sail the river. Offers random items & bonuses.
Skate Park
- Bet you wish you knew how to skateboard.
Temporary Tattoo Parlour
- Brand your hobo with washable ink.
The Story
- The first set of adventures begins when you answer the phone in the phone booth, which is located slightly northeast of the Red Light District.
- The second set of adventures begins when you attempt to gain entry to the restroom in the Bowling Alley. To do this, you will need to get the key to it from a man at the Old Man's Arena.
- The third set of adventures begins with the arrival of some punks in the City. Eat a Wonka Bar, check the wrapper for some coordinates, and explore the City to locate the place they are coming from.
