Adventures are a story-line addition to HoboWars.

The Unusually Large Backpack

Backpack.gif The Unusually Large Backpack stores and contains various items you find and use during the Adventures and other activities.

Second City

The Second City, formerly the Ye Olde Towne, is reachable through riding the Short Bus, which is located on the North Side of the City.

Bowling Alley

You can bowl for 15T. You must have the bowling shoes equipped in order to bowl. The bowling shoes may be found at the flea market. To equip(once bought), click on the icon in your backpack. You will have 2 opponents to select from initially. Once you beat one you will open up a third opponent.

Boxing Stadium

A sign outside the stadium reads: No fights today! Go home!

Bus Station

The Bus Station is your link to the first City.

City Hall

A place to beg (like the Corner 7/11). You will receive reduced income, but can randomly receive huge sums of cash from the Deputy Mayor. You can also play RPSLS here to win cash & Smart Bread.

Docks

The docks will show "Nobody else around the docks tonight" until certain side adventures are completed, in which case you will be able to buy special foods afterwards. Houses your Wonka Boat for later use after obtained during the Hoburbia Adventures.

Liquor Store

You need a Fake ID in order to buy anything from the Liquor Store. If you do not have a Fake ID, you will be rickrolled.

Night Club

Will read "The bouncer turns you away at the door" until certain adventures are completed. Once available, you can dance for 2T in order to make small amounts of money and possibly find Disco Rats.

Park

You can visit the Flea Market and buy several items that you may need.

Parking Garage

You must pay $100 to get in. Once you you may participate in a Fight Club. Your first opponent is Tyler Durden. You can find other other opponents as you complete different portions of adventures. Tyler gains levels and stats the more times you fight him, the higher the level he gets, the more time you have to beat him before he gains another one. As his levels rises, so do his stats accordingly.
The Garage is one place where you can train Adventure Equipment.

Telephone Booth

Unlabeled on the map and located next to the Red Light District. It rings every 24 hours, receiving calls from various people who require your services.

Red Light District

You can explore for 3T. Random encounters/fights will get you money and/or stats.

Sewer Entrance

A foul smelling place, has 4 mysterious doors. Costs 2T to explore, 1T with the Gas Mask.

Train Station

A train that connects Second City and Hoburbia. Some hobos loiter in boxes near the tracks.

Hoburbia

The route to Hoburbia is unlocked through the Bowling Alley bathroom.

Beeramid

The Beeramid is a mysterious structure with a mysterious purpose. It also contains a series of mysterious riddles for a mysterious prize.

Candy Store

Deals primarily, and solely, in Wonka candy.

Chocolate Factory

What dark evil goes on behind the doors of the chocolate factory is unknown.

Court House

Generally, not in session.

Nursing Home

Home to Grandpa Joe, this is your base of operations for the start of the Hoburbia adventure.

Pawn Shop

Buys old adventure items and sells some interesting new items.

Pickety Pete's

Sells picket signs. Currently a very busy place, due to striking Oompa Loompas.

Soup Kitchen

Offers a hot meal to a weary hobo, but only once a day.

Tincan Alley

Home to the Hoburbia flee market and a starving artist, an interesting place indeed.

Wellness Clinic

For a small cost (then an increasing large cost thereafter), one can enjoy wellness and eat another meal.

Explore the Hoburbs

For 5T, one can explore the surrounding area. Offers random items & bonuses.

Canbodia

Much like the second set of adventures were a rough parody of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Canbodia is a parody of Apocalypse Now. Each mission completed appears to unlock both a new alcoholic beverage and a new stop down the river. As this adventure is still in progress, we will not be going into great depth with the locations, as that might be considered some kind of cheating. In order to begin this set of adventures, you require items obtained during your adventures in both the Second City and Hoburbia. However, you do not have to have completed either adventure.

Army Base

The Hobo Army Base. Not much to it.

Beach

Once you complete the mission here, you're be able to play Stratego for one smart bread every day at a cost of 30T.

Dive Bar

Sells booze. Features a neat tip jar.

Hot Topic

A clothing store that doesn't sell anything.

Improved Dumpster

A better version of the original dumpster that offers more items.

Jungle

An explorable jungle. Has random encounters/fights and ingredients.

Kurtz's Camp

Kurtz's hideout, obviously. If you have Sticks, you can make Fire here.

Recycling Bin

A place where you can donate your cans in return for Recycling Points and cash.

Sailing the River

For 5T, one can sail the river. Offers random items & bonuses.

Skate Park

Bet you wish you knew how to skateboard.

Temporary Tattoo Parlour

Brand your hobo with washable ink. Awesome washable ink.

The Story

The first set of adventures begins when you answer the phone in the phone booth, which is located slightly northeast of the Red Light District.

The second set of adventures begins when you attempt to gain entry to the restroom in the Bowling Alley. To do this, you will need to get the key to it from a man at the Old Man's Arena.

The third set of adventures begins with the arrival of some punks in the City. Eat a Wonka Bar, check the wrapper for some coordinates, and explore the City to locate the place they are coming from.
